Blog Status:  With the flurry of activity and getting a new contributor in Lee Gallagher, hits on this site are now regularly approaching 150 a day.  Yesterday, of  the 32 different pages read, only two related to non-prostate cancer issues. I guess we have identified the current focus.  If there are other sufferers who want to become contributors, please leave a comment on the About this site page

Health Status:  I am still trying to get rid of the muck on the lungs.  Whilst I am booked for another chest X-Ray and a potential hospital procedure, I have been hanging back as each day gets a little easier.  I am needing supplementary oxygen most of the time now.  But let’s see what today brings

How do you know if he’s “the one?” Check to make sure that he has a pulse and isn’t already married to someone else.  Father Tony Kerin from the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne told the Herald Sun of Australia. “I think many are setting aside their aspirations for later, but by the time they get around to it, they’ve missed their chance.”

It is not just about what women want!  Perhaps men want a commitment to settle down and have children earlier than women do.  What man wants to be over 60 at his kids 18th birthday parties?  We must find out what he needs!

Demographer Bernard Salt has calculated that of the 1.343 million men in the same age bracket, only 86,000 single, heterosexual, well-off, young men were available after excluding those who were already married (485,000), in a de facto relationship (185,000), gay (7000), a single parent (12,000) or earning less than $60,000 a year.  Its claimed that there are just 86,000 Mr Rights for 1.3 million women aged between 25 & 34.

With a total of 690,000 men already taken of a pool of 1,343 million, it says a lot for women’s expectations of a man’s salary to be higher than $60,000 a year.  That equates to 650,000 (remainder of pool) minus 86,000 (available men) … or half a million not financially suitable for picky females.  Give me a break
