David is a conference facilitator and corporate comedian based in Melbourne

It has been a good weekend with my son (David) staying for a few days whilst my wife and full time carer (Pauline)  has a mini-holiday.

As you would expect when your wife is away, you get away with stuff that normally would have to be justified like leaving the dishes until tomorrow before washing them.  Good stuff!

Nothing new has developed on the health scene.  I am still struggling keeping the airways open.  On Saturday night, I simply did not get to sleep so I was up from 2.30am renovating the web site.  I hope you notice the difference.

I certainly made up for the lack of sleep over the next couple of days.  I have been falling asleep at the wheel, so to speak, just nodding off while doing things like eating lunch and not waking til about lunchtime.

It has been a real struggle on Sunday with the pain management faltering.  I needed some breakthrough morphine to get through the day.  Below the surface, my being is trembling belying the smooth manner I am able to pull off.
