Specialising in the human experience of Living with prostate cancer – warts and all

Meet the apprentice

As I shall not be able to continue this blog into the future, we are fortunate to have another man just starting out with his diagnosis of prostate cancer who is willing to tell his story here as it develops.

His name is Lee Gallagher and he comes from the Mackay area of Queensland.

That means that my four years of posts, and the lessons learned, will have the chance to continue to be a resource for those with the disease and their carers.

There will be many similarities but, more importantly, there will be experiences that Lee has had that did not affect me.

Whilst I can, I shall be looking forward to what Lee has to say and I hope you keep the comments flowing to him as it is a great encouragement to keep going – even when you are ill.

Good luck Lee.  I hope you get as much satisfaction as I have had from my contributions.
