Time for us to go

When we moved to the King Valley ten years ago, we accepted that, one day, we would not be acapable of  maintaining the property due to the hilly nature of the land.  Well, due to my condition, that time has come and we have placed “Caringbush” on the market through Garry Nash Real Estate, Wangaratta. and here is an extract from their web site.

If you know someone looking for a lifestyle property complete with a kilometre of  creek with a beautiful waterfall below the patio, let them know that this is one of the prettiest locations in the King Valley.

  1. Sounds too cheap, Greg. Also, why no picture of the waterfall? Anyway, good luck with it, I’m sure someone will snap it up. After all, you can’t buy 10 acres and build on it any more.

PS: Hint, change the name. ‘Carringbush’!!! We know what that means, Mr Wren.

    • I reckon it should be valued over $300k too. I am annoyed that they didn’t use the waterfall picture I sent them. They were probably scared they would be inundated with enquiries if they showed the water features of the property.

As to the name, – it actually means ‘caring’-‘bush’. There is only one ‘r’

  2. Caring (for the) bush? I don’t ‘care’, Greg, it’s much too close to that other name and, given that you are on of them, I think the double meaning might just be intended.

So, how’s it going to go on Monday night, C’wood v St Kilda?

    • The Saints run has to come to an end and what better way than at the hands of the Magpies. St Kilda appear to be playing above all expectations and Collingwood is always the wildcard. I DO think the Pies will win.

      • I agree they’re a ‘wildcard’ but I just can’t see C’wood kicking enough goals against the best defence in the AFL. Saints by …. 39.

  3. The next question, of course, is where are you going Greg? Wang, Wodonga, Melbourne?

  4. Two words, Greg:

    EIGHTY EIGHT

You were only 99 out (I was 49 out)

    Go Saints!
