As Kitchen Garden Week looms (October 6-12), schools across Victoria are preparing to celebrate the program inspired by Stephanie Alexander seven years ago. … Age article here

The students at our cluster of tiny schools in the King Valley are planning to bake delicious pizzas in the wood-fired oven at Myrrhee Primary School to sell to the local community. They will be estimating costs and profit (or loss) as a business exercise and reinvesting any profits in their Kitchen Garden Program.

Locals should contact their local school now to order in advance and make their day a huge success.
