106 mpg ‘air car’ creates buzz, questions
(CNN) — You’ve heard of hybrids, electric cars and vehicles that can run on vegetable oil. But of all the contenders in the quest to produce the ultimate fuel-efficient car, this could be the first one to let you say, “fill it up with air.”

The concept is similar to how a locomotive works, except compressed air — not steam — moves the engine’s pistons, said Shiva Vencat, vice president of MDI and CEO of Zero Pollution Motors.

Massive clean energy reserves found

QUEENSLAND has struck yet another bonanza with the discovery of an enormous reservoir of zero emission coal seam gas, 100km east of the outback town of Cloncurry.  The discovery of the clean energy reserves in the new Millungera Basin by a Queensland government survey team comes just days after Canberra increased the pressure to embrace lower-emissions fuels by releasing its carbon trading green paper … and I’ll bet it all gets exported!
