Alan JonesAlan Jones has prostate cancer

I’m listening to his press conference now – in the midst of this rather startling and unexpected news, he’s showing his class and level headedness in not over-lamenting his situation, and looking at it in the perspective of others who struggle far more than he will in this battle.

I wish him well and hope that he recovers from this setback. News link below…

Greg’s Comment:

Are all you guys out there taking notice?

First there was Sam, then there was Greg, now there is Alan … Do you want to be next?

Go get your PSA blood reading taken – and do it soon!

  1. well if it happens in threes I should be in the clear eh?
I’ll go get probed whhen I turn 40 (unless I’m abducted by aliens first).

You can find anything on google I swear, this link might interest you though.

  2. Jack, Do a tag search on prostate cancer and you will find a whole heap of ‘Greg Naylors’ telling their individual stories. This disease is huge!

The advice I have been spreading through my family is that the moment there is ANY variation in the urine discharge, have it checked out. It is encouraging to find that there is nothing wrong. It seems that 40 is the accepted age to start being checked out.
