Dear Resident Over the past 5 1/2 years, as an elected Local Government Councillor for Rural City of Wangaratta, I have worked passionately for the entire municipality ensuring that recreational, cultural and social/community services are provided to you – a lifestyle that is so important to us, and our children’s future.
My proven expertise and sound knowledge in local government practices and decision making through community engagement will deliver significant results to our dynamic municipality.
I will be advocating for: The reinstatement of our portfolio system; A fair and equitable distribution of financial investment across the municipality; An open and financially accountable Council; Leadership and strategic planning for both urban and rural areas; Promotion of Education and life-long learning; Embracing our heritage and cultural diversity; Economic development and job opportunities for our youth.
