Dream interpretation wanted

with 4 comments

This is a true story. Last night, I had a strange dream … or was it a nightmare.

I was hosting George Bush and John Howard in my home. As they came and went, they passed messages to each other – all proper protocol.

I found John to be the quiet type whilst George was the happy buffoon. He referred to John as the little bald bloke and he even gave me his bible. When I opened the bible, pages with marked passages were bookmarked with US$100 bills and there were hundreds of them. As I began to read one of these passages, the bible disintegrated leaving me with a pile of money.

Now, as I am anti neo-conservatism, anti-war and all that stuff, there must be a hidden meaning in that dream.

I reckon you will be able to give me all kinds of interpretations. Do you want to have a go at it.

I would like to MeMe Ray Dixon from Alpine Opinion, Dave from Albury, and Keiren from Wodonga Online Times, all linked on the right, to publish this post to see if their readers can solve my problem. Any other Blog is welcome to join in too.

  1. LOL, What makes you think I have any readers? It’s just me and Ray, with the occasional visit from the Grodsies. I shall take up the challenge none the less.

  2. Well OK Greg, I’ll go along with your sort-of ‘reverse meme’ (I tagged you, remember!)

But be warned, my readers cover some pretty radical demographics. From the ‘looney left’ to the extreme right wing. Then there’s the redneck shooters, the hillbillies from savebright and the pot smokers. I wouldn’t count on getting any great insight into your dream from that lot.

  3. At least Sophie wasn’t in your dream.

  4. Ray Dixon has crossposted, or memed, this post over at Alpine Opinion. Click over there and read the interpretations by Ray’s readers. It makes good reading.
